What should I know?

You should be good with communication and managerial skills because you have to communicate your ideas and views to your clients and teams (technicians like painters, carpenters, plumbers etc). Managerial skills can be developed, but passion for design, decor and perfection should be there with you.

Is this career suitable for me?

Interior designing can be a very good career, if you think differently; you feel you are creative, look at things from different eye and if you like improving look, feel and functionality of a space. If you have that passion, you can join a course and gain further technical knowledge and become an interior designer.
