Overview

A broadcast journalist or a presenter is a journalist who delivers news using tv, radio or internet. You need to be comfortable telling stories in front of camera for video broadcasting. A Photogenic person have better chances to excel in this career. For radio broadcasting you might need a pleasant voice.

An editor or news director generally assign a topic or story to Reporters/Broadcast Journalists to research. They conduct interviews with people who have information or opinions about the story. After finished with story they review it for accuracy and structure it. They also update stories when new information becomes available.

You will need to respond very quickly to circumstances as reporting can happen live many times. So you need to have good general knowledge. Also you need to have good communication skill.
